Finding your dream wedding dress can be stressful. After all, you’ve likely never tried one on before, and it’s the most expensive garment many women will ever own, so it can feel like the pressure is definitely on while wedding dress shopping. It may also feel like there’s a whole new language to decode—tulle, A-line, fit-and-flare, lace, organza, sheath, fit-and-flare, etc. Not to mention, more brides are doing multiple dresses—a more formal one for the ceremony and a party-centric one for the reception—which can make shopping even more stressful.
The wedding dress is not a separate piece of garment that just you need to love, it is a reflection of many things that comes together about your wedding that need to take into consideration, like: the kind of wedding you are going to have (formal, intimate, black-tie, beach wedding, etc.), the number of people you are going to invite, the place, the religion or the ceremony type, the culture (so, important to consider) and not jus your family and friends culture but your in-laws culture and traditions, etc.
